Martha Redman has more than 15-years professional experience as a trainer. She grew up in Seattle, WA and following her high school graduation, had an opportunity to be a working student in Bedford, NY under the instruction of Judy Richter and Andre Dignelli.  In 1992, she placed 5th in the Rolex/USET West Coast Talent Search in Los Angeles and finished in the top 25 at the USEF Medal Finals at Harrisburg. Because of her desire to become a professional, Martha remained in New York to work for a large sales barn.

In 1994, Martha moved back to Seattle to ride and teach. She won the $10,000 Poulsbo Mini Prix in Bainbridge Island, WA and was 3rd in the $10,000 Evergreen Classic Mini Prix in Redmond, WA. She also had the opportunity to compete at the Masters Tournament at Spruce Meadows.

In 1997, Martha was offered the opportunity to live abroad and moved to Ireland to compete. She worked for Millbank Farm and competed young jumpers at Dublin, Millstreet, and Cavan where she rode Glenn First Lady to the 4-year old Young Jumper Championship.

In 1999, Martha returned to the States and settled in Millbrook, NY where she established a training and sales business. In 2001, she had the opportunity to participate in a work-study program with George H. Morris during the Winter Equestrian Festival.

Martha relocated to Chester Springs, PA in April 2010 to work at Callan Solem Show Stables.  Her years with Callan Solem provided valuable experience working at the top level of competitive show jumping. Her students won top ribbons at some of the best shows in the country including WEF, Devon, Upperville, Lake Placid, and HITS.  Martha completed her USHJA Training Certification in early 2011.

Redman Show Horses, Inc is Martha's current venture as a riding professional and business owner.
