With two proven stallions ( Slainte and Cobalt ) who consistently reproduces great offspring,time and time again. You can rest assured that our foals have and will follow in their parents footsteps ! It doesn't stop there we feel we have a responsibility to our clients as well as our horses to match the right horse to the right person. We truely do know our horses and we know them well. We focus on quality not quanitity. We take great pride producing young stock that not only have great potential, but are also a pleasure to own.

Select Breeders Services (SBS) is the largest provider of frozen semen services in the world, with unrivalled expertise accumulated over its twenty-five years leading the frozen semen industry. SBS provides semen freezing, storage, and distribution for our stallion clientele, as well as a mobile laboratory that can travel to farms for on-site freezing. In 2011, SBS in Maryland moved into a new 13,000 square foot state of the art facility and offers complete stallion reproductive services including; phantom training, semen collection and evaluation services, cooled and frozen semen processing and comprehensive stallion management to breeders in the Mid-Atlantic region. In Maryland, our veterinary services division (SBS-VS) expands veterinary care and mare management services in Chesapeake City, northern Maryland, southern Pennsylvania, and Delaware. SBS-VS offers services including routine veterinary and farm care, management of breeding and foaling mares, advanced diagnostic techniques and therapies, embryo transfer, and on-site recipient mare herd. SBS-VS has partnered with Dr. David Scofield, a board certified veterinarian in reproduction, who brings a strong background in general equine practice, embryo transfer, mare management, foaling services, and infertility of the mare and stallion to our offices in Maryland. SBS laboratories have over 3,500 stallions in our searchable stallion database and more than 120,000 doses of frozen semen in storage. Owner Jane MacElree has always focused not only on the horses, but also on the people connected with them and it has been that team approach that has formed the groundwork of Hilltop Farm's emergence as a leader in the US sport horse industry.

The dedicated, knowledgeable staff is committed to providing the very best in programs and customer service. Hilltop Farm has three distinct departments related to the development of sport horses. Our Breeding Department focuses on Stallion Management; the Raising Department encompasses both broodmare management and the raising of young sporthorses, and our Training Department is primarily focused on dressage, but also believes in the value of cross-training and variety in the development of an elite level athlete.

I have been involved with horses ever since I can remember. My passion for the sport is very intense, and is clearly visible to those who know me. Most recently, I have begun purchasing young horses ranging in age from six months to three years old. They begin their career showing in hunter breeding and then performance classes. My hope is that they will ultimately be "my ride" in the A/O hunter divisions. Initially, I purchased Zarrbuck, a handsome buckskin then yearling colt, in the fall of 2005 who went on to win in hunter breeding until he was sold. Since that time, my horses Gold Tycoon, Blonde Ambition, West Hampton, and Belcort have been very successful showing on the line. All my horses have placed at major breeding shows including Devon, Upperville, Warrenton, and the IHF finals. By Design Farm's horses won the PA Hunter Breeders Yearling Futurity Overall Championship three years in a row... 2007, 2008, and 2009. I realize that "this is where it all begins, and so many of us tend to forget that someone, somewhere, bred and raised the superstars of yesterday and today. I would like to see more people involved at the breeding level. I believe that owning, raising and showing the young ones, is a great way to promote breeding in North America". My ultimate goal is to have horses that combine ability and appeal ideally suited for today's amateur... namely me!
