Most horses can be successfully retrained for second careers as show horses, companion horses, riding horses and even therapy horses for the handicapped. Those that cannot go on to a new career are able to live our their lives in peace with dignity and loving people to care for them. Our club offers lots of activities open to all members of the equestrian community. SAPC offers two unrecognized Horse Trials each year, with inviting, well-built fences including ditches, banks, and water, situated on lovely footing. Throughout the year we host clinics with top riders, and offer regular cross country schooling sessions. A fun show and event derby round out the calendar
